SAS bases its interventions on the principles of Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT). I believe a combination of various teaching methods to be most beneficial for the majority of children. In addition, the enhancement of the child's environment, increased motivation, and addressing sensory needs can be integral components of the child’s programme. The interventions should ideally take place in natural environments.

In addition, taking a positive and functional approach to behavioural issues, the use of visual supports, and teaching within typical family routines will serve to complete my approach.
